Altimate Electric Leadership
Harry Holmes, Jr. founded Altimate Electric, Inc. in 1997 with the vision to build a team providing endless opportunities for its employees and customers. His charismatic and inspirational personality allows him to foster lasting professional relationships with everyone he encounters. As the company's success progressed, Harry decided it was time for Altimate to expand opportunities to his team. In January 2016, Harry established a new division, Altimate Electric Service Division, LLC., which expands Altimate's services to include critical power, preventative maintenance, and service contracts.
Harry's passion for the electrical industry began with his father, who was an electrician and business owner. Harry started his career as a helper, quickly learning the electrical trade, and continuously worked his way up. Harry completed the 4-year apprenticeship program and obtained his Master Electrician license, then learned Estimating and Project Management to fully understand all aspects of the trade.
Rich joined Altimate in 2016 to support Harry's vision for future growth. He is primarily responsible for creating structure via well-defined process, accountability, implementing and managing Harry's strategic vision. His proactive approach to institute meeting rhythm and identify operational opportunities comes from over 30+ years of business experiences leading organizations and putting himself in the clients' shoes. Rich utilizes a structured sales process, marketing creativity, a penchant for managing finances plus laser focus on continuous improvement and leadership. Rich is well rounded to assist Altimate's growth.
Rich was introduced to Harry Holmes, Jr. in 2009 at Vistage, a business advisory group tailored to coaching Owners/CEOs on becoming more effective leaders within their organization. Rich started an IT services company in 2000 and built it to the 70th largest MSP in the US and sold ARHD in 2015 to Konica Minolta. Rich holds an MBA in Finance from Hofstra University and a BS in Marketing at fromState University of New York at Oswego.
Paul Keane joined the Altimate team in 2013 bringing more than 35 years of Electrical contracting experience. The combination of drive and work ethic steered his rapid growth. He quickly worked his way through the field and obtained a Journeyman's Card and his Master's License. He then moved into the office working in Estimating, Project Management and eventually a leadership roles.
Today, Paul oversees all Field Operations and all project management teams, warehouse, fleet operations and overseeing the day to day field crews of our construction projects. He is a tremendous asset to Altimate with his skilled management knowledge, upbeat attitude and experience in identifying potential obstacles while utilizing his ability to form and maintain quality relationships.
Trey is the leader of the Service Division and is responsible for day to day Operations of all service personnel, sales, and customer satisfaction. Trey's ability to develop and nurture client relationships, assess client's problems, resolve the situation and prevent future occurrences is a testament to his knowledge and dedication to the Electrical industry.
Trey joined Altimate with 30+ years of experience working in the electrical field, advancing from Apprentice to Senior Project Manager in 2015. Trey was an obvious candidate to lead this division, which has grown rapidly and effectively.
Dexter joined Altimate in 2014, with over 30+ years of experience with field work and estimating electrical projects. He is responsible for securing profitable work, providing detailed and accurate proposals, and mentoring his team. Dexter keeps an open-door policy with his team, encouraging suggestions and ideas from everyone. Dexter works with our clients to develop budget and Value Engineering. He quite often visits clients' sites to capture vital details for upcoming bids.
Dexter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Norfolk State University. Upon graduation from college, an electrical contractor hired him to be a helper. Dexter found his passion within the Electrical trade, and progressed steadily to where he is today.
Laura joined Altimate in 2004 leveraging her strong Accounting background. She performs a wide range of duties including overseeing Altimate's financials and IT operations, as well as overseeing Human Resources. Laura is primarily responsible for overseeing the day to day financial operations, including the development and analysis of budgets and financial reports.
Laura has developed a strong Accounting department, and takes the initiative to hire and train individuals that will be the future leaders of Altimate. Laura works closely with Harry and Operations making sure all the details are being considered.
Chad Cook joined Altimate in 2004 as a helper out of High School. Chad is responsible for directing, allocating, and training Altimate's Field personnel. He monitors the production of the labor force, continually maintaining progress and production at peak efficiency. Chad is mindful and has the responsibility of assuring that our Field personnel are trained in safety, quality of work and fully capable of carrying out the goals and commitments established by the company.
Chad diligently works hard every day with a whatever it takes attitude. He completed 4-year IEC Apprenticeship program. He spent several years at Altimate in the Field as a Foreman where he gained vast experience in analyzing blueprints, installing quality equipment, and leading field crews. He has a clear and concise understanding of all phases of the Construction process .
