Harry Holmes, Jr.

Owner & President

Harry Holmes, Jr. founded Altimate Electric, Inc. in 1997 with a vision to build a commercial electrical contracting firm that would provide endless opportunities and deliver the highest quality of workmanship. With this vision in mind, Harry has created a highly qualified and dynamic team with uncapped potential. As a transformational leader, Harry is involved, charismatic, and he continually challenges his employees to be the best. He works one on one with team members to provide them with the tools and the knowledge necessary to empower them to be successful. No matter who he encounters, whether it be an employee or a client Harry fosters lasting personal and professional relationships.

Harry’s passion for the electrical industry was inspired by his father, who worked as an electrician and business owner. Harry began his career in 1982 working with his father as a helper and quickly learned the electrical trade. Determined to work his way to the top, he completed the 4-year apprenticeship certification program, obtained his Master Electrician license, and successfully ran work as a foreman. Once he accomplished this, Harry continued to educate himself in estimating and project management in order to fully understand all aspects of the electrical business. Since incorporating Altimate in 1997, the company has grown substantially, with more growth on the horizon. With his foresight, Harry continues to put key people in key positions to ensure that the company maintains its solid structure as the company evolves.

Paul Keane

Vice President of Operations

Paul joined Altimate’s team in 2013 and has since utilized his vast knowledge of the industry to aid in the growth of Altimate. As Vice President of Operations, Paul oversees the day-to-day operations of the business. He has proven to be a tremendous asset to Altimate with his skilled management knowledge, upbeat attitude and experience in identifying potential obstacles while utilizing his ability to form and maintain quality relationships. Paul works closely with his team of project managers and field supervisors to ensure Altimate’s end product is top quality and delivered to GCs within budget and on schedule. Since joining Altimate, Paul has successfully implemented processes and procedures for his team to ensure they provide quality work product for each project. He routinely coaches his team and promotes training to enhance their personal and professional growth.

Paul Keane has over 40 years of experience in the Commercial Electrical Industry. He began in the field, completed apprenticeship training, and obtained both his Journeyman and Master Electrician licenses before joining the office team as an estimator, project manager and rapidly elevated to executive management. With Paul’s structured approach to management, Altimate has experienced smart growth and is on track to continue increasing both volume and personnel.

Laura Ferraro

Vice President of Finance & HR

Laura joined Altimate in 2004 as an Administrative Assistant. Throughout her years of service she has consistently seized opportunities and has taken the initiative to further develop her roles and responsibilities at Altimate Electric. With her proactive approach she earned her current position as Altimate’s Vice President of Finance and Human Resources, and has successfully established and fostered a team of high-performing accounting professionals. Under her areas of direction, Laura is accountable for administrating day to day financial operations, including the development and analysis of budgets and financial reports. Additionally, she oversees Altimate’s Accounting Department and IT operations, as well as manages the Human Resource Department.

Laura studied finance and accounting at Montana State University and has a Paralegal Associates of Arts degree from Edmonds Community College in Washington state. Working closely with the Executive Team, Laura provides financial and historical data and identifies trends which assist in the continued growth and development of the company.

Dexter Greene

Chief Estimator

Dexter joined Altimate in 2014 as the team’s Chief Estimator. He is responsible for securing profitable work, providing detailed and accurate proposals, preparing pre-construction budgets and mentoring his team. Dexter keeps an open-door policy, encouraging suggestions and ideas from each member of his team. Dexter invests countless hours in each bid and he has been instrumental in the continued growth in revenue during his tenure at Altimate.

Dexter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Norfolk State University. Upon graduation from college, an electrical contractor hired him to be a helper and he then worked his way to foreman. Dexter found his passion within the Electrical trade and progressed steadily from running work as a foreman in the field to transitioning into the office, beginning as an assistant project manager, then project manager and finally estimator, all the while applying his knowledge to each project and each bid.
