PSTA
PSTA was built from the ground up with the newest technology for training policemen and firefighters. Altimate’s hard work and dedication to delivering an exceptional product was a key component to the project’s overall success and meeting the completion date of October 11, 2016.
PSTA is a campus of 13 buildings containing a main academic building, two burn buildings, a fire station, a high-bay fire training building, four police incident scenario buildings, a canine training facility, an MDOT training building, a parking garage, a fuel station, and multiple police driving training tracks. The main academic building consists of two floors of classrooms, administrative offices, a gymnasium, and a shooting range. Altimate’s scope of work included specifications 26, 27 and 28, which covered lighting, emergency power, distribution system, security, fire alarm, A/V, telecom, and lightning protection. The facility has a massive electrical power, telecommunications, and fiber ductback system interconnecting the entire campus. The latest technologies in access control, security, telecommunications, and A/V are utilized throughout the entire campus
